WEVV-TV is recruiting a Sales Assistant to join the sales department of our CBS and Fox affiliate combo in Evansville, Indiana. If chosen, you will join a highly successful sales team which operates as a well-aligned, high-functioning organization, and is comprised of seasoned media sales professionals.
This position assists sales staff by:
• Direct support to Sales Managers and Account Executives
• Strong knowledge base of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint & Excel)
• Typing letters and creating proposals
• Maintaining and creating sales materials
• Operating research software
• Maintaining client database
Other Responsibilities include:
• Participating and helping with station promotional events and employee gatherings
• Providing receptionist duties as necessary
• Backing-up Business Manager duties as necessary
This is a part time position – 30 hours a week. (8am – 2 pm)
Must be accomplished with Microsoft suite and computer literate with new programs. Some financial background is beneficial.
